This week’s fabric of the week is the gorgeous Lime Green Raw Silk. It’s incredibly versatile and has fantastic durability. I’d love to see it made into a beautiful knee-length coat, or full silk skirt like these street-style shots I pinned for inspiration (note the black and white stripes to match):
This thick lime green raw silk has a beautiful, slubby texture. Under bright lights it is a vibrant, lime green shade, although it looks more khaki in the shade. Despite the raw silk’s thick nature, it’s incredibly breathable and has a very light handle. The silk is also warm and soft and has arrived just in time for the lime green trend next season!

I also pinned some colour combos that I’m obsessed with!! Check these out for fabulous ways to offset the brightness of the green: mixing with other similarly bright pinks and blues, or toning it right down and setting against a lot of white and baby pinks. Inspired!
