This bold geometric pendant is designed and crafted by Nieves and Heber of Just Trade’s Zoe Project in Lima, Peru. By working with Just Trade , Nieves and Heber are able to receive a fair wage and work part-time enabling them to fund their studies. Heber is training to be an occupational therapist and Nieves a teacher – an opportunity that their parents never had.
The brass is hand cut and polished. The chain is approximately 50cm and there are also matching earrings available… just to tempt you!
It is packaged beautifully in a Just Trade black jewellery box, with accompanying Just Trade label, explaining their story!

Just Trade – Valuing people and creativity – Jewellery designed for a fairer world.
Just Trade collaborates with artisans around the world to create stylish, desirable hand made jewellery. Founded in 2006 by jewellery designer, Laura Cave, Just Trade is a collaborative, innovative brand.
The business was born out of first hand contact with real people in the developing world and the recognition that in order for such projects to be sustainable they need a long-term route to market for their goods. Just Trade now works with eight groups of artisans in Peru, Ecuador and India.
Just Trade principles:
1) Design Excellence – Training not only in how to make hand crafted, well made products but focusing on trends and design for an export market.
2) Collaboration – Annual trips to re-visit our artisan partners for focused product development.
3) Fair Trade – Complying fully with the 10 principles of fair trade.
4) Sustainability – Selecting materials that are locally sourced and environmentally sound.
